Traer November 10 J T Findley a Tama county resident since 1867 died at his home after a long illness. Born in Pennsylvania in 1866 he moved west in 1857 and first settled in Minnesota. He served in the Civil War 1862 to 1865 in the 83rd Illinois Infantry. He survived by five children Alpheus L Rolfe Thomas Boone Mrs Abbig Trotzel Traer Mrs Fatima Raper Hop son Emory and others. His wife and two children predeceased him.
