Mortgage burning marks Lions Club event in Richland
The Richland Lions Club celebrated burning the mortgage on the Lions Community Building on Sept. 28. Guests included the Lionels and District Governor Donald Hammen. The event followed a period of club fundraising from the Fourth of July tractor pull, chicken barbecue, and white elephant auction. Local groups and residents attended various meetings and social events in Richland and nearby towns.
