Babcock Leaves Iowa Live Stock to Start Own Firm
John A. Babcock announces severing ties with the Iowa Live Stock on June 1 to head his own business. He names Embry Burt as steer salesman, Bill Dorrance to handle butcher stock, George Brownson as hog alley partner, and Ed Spain to continue sheep sales. The cattle location sits south of the Exchange Building, hog alley next to C-5 Scale, office 320, with Wood Brothers as associates.
