Recluse Neville Brand’s quiet Malibu life and vast book collection
UPI reports star Neville Brand, famed for Laredo and wartime heroism, now living a solitary life in Malibu. He surrounds himself with about 40 000 books, cooks in a tiny kitchen, and travels by ketch to Catalina when not filming at Universal. He values privacy, avoids parties, and works long hours at NBC studios. Astronomers quoted by National Geographic consider contacting civilizations beyond Earth, aware signals would take centuries to reach and return.
