Kleese reunion among families in Sunset Park
The annual Kleese reunion was held Sunday July 16 in Sunset Park with 75 relatives attending. Paul Griffith presided over the business meeting and new 1973 officers were named including C J Griffith president Wilbur Wright vice president and Ralph Kleese secretary treasurer. Births marriages and the death of Clement Griffith were reported along with a long list of attendees from multiple towns and states. Airman William L Schauf from Wellman Iowa completed basic training at Lackland AFB Texas and awaits medical services training at Sheppard AFB Texas.

Homemaker Health Aide Service to Meet in Burlington
The Homemaker Health Aide Service holds its Ninth Annual Meeting in Burlington on July 26 1972 at 1 30 p m in the Burlington Bank and Trust Company Community Room. Guest speaker will be Frank Fair director of the Office of Comprehensive Health Planning for Iowa. Thirteen employees will be honored for five years of service and eleven board seats will be filled with nominations and floor bids. Any adult resident of Des Moines Henry Lee Louisa or Washington counties may vote or seek office and the public is invited.
