The Rebekah Club met at the IOOF Hall Thursday evening for a potluck supper attended by 8 members and four visitors. Mrs. John Beenblossom presided at a short business meeting and bingo was the diversion of the evening. The September committee will be Eliza Brock and Mae Wehr.

Francis Litwill er and Rolla Westing welcome a son born at Mercy Hospital Iowa City.
Mr and Mrs Jim McCreedy of Ainsworth and Mrs Peg Henry arrived home Tuesday from a Colorado vacation. They visited Mrs Henrys brother and wife in Ft Collins. Mrs L J Whitted and daughter Jo Ann of Clinton returned home after visiting Mrs Whitteds parents, Mr and Mrs George Masson Sr. Everett Miller and family recently returned from a sightseeing trip to the Black Hills and Colorado.
Mrs. Robert Grubb presided with 24 co workers present as reports from Cedar Rapids state convention and Academy of Friendship potluck were given. Next meeting is Sept 3, sun shine child Aug 22, and August 27 gathering announced along with a bakeless bake sale plan at Mooseheart.
