Sunnyside Camp Sees Record Attendees For Handicapped Iowa
Sunnyside Camp in Ankeny hosts 432 campers from 90 of Iowa counties in its largest season to date. The Easter Seal Society operates the ACA approved 60 acre camp offering swimming boating archery crafts and nature hikes for ages eight to 80 through August 18. Camp director Robert Barnhill notes attendance surpasses last year’s 415 while highlighting strong community support and scholarships to aid those unable to pay the 97.50 campship.
