Extending East Drift at the Chicago Boston
The Chicago-Boston mine advances its east drift on the 400 level at about 4% feet per day following a footwall. A recent crosscut from the 200 level revealed an 18 inch ore shoot with 6 inches on the hanging wall side, indicating a rake to the east. High grade ore will be shipped while lower grade ore is stored for later disposition as development continues and additional men work toward reaching the ore shoot.
