Price of Powder Cuts 25 Cents Per 100 Pounds
The Wallace Powder company, Wallace as local distributor for mining explosives, announced a 25 cent per 100 pound price cut effective August 20 on gelatin and stamping powders. New prices list 50-pound ton lot gelatin 40 percent at 23.15 per 100 pounds, under ton 29.65. 60 percent gelatin 26.05 ton, 27.15 under ton. stamping powder 20.18 ton, 20.65 under ton. This follows a prior June 1 reduction of 1.75 per 100 on gelatin powder, no cut on stamping powder.
