Suggestions to Young Engineers in Mining Journalism
The article argues young mining engineers lack proficiency in typewritten presentation and photographic illustration. It urges schools to teach typing and photography, noting rapid, neat typewritten reports gain immediate attention and prestige. It emphasizes developing independent office skills and understanding cameras, lenses, exposure, film development, and printing for effective, well-illustrated reports.

Spanish war veterans in the Pacific Northwest with tuberculosis or mental and nervous diseases will be treated in government hospitals in the district, replacing exclusive World War I usage.
