Six candidates have petitions out for the August election. City Commissioner William T. Hornibrook seeks reelection along with Fred Thompson Fred Deakon George May. Municipal Judge contenders include George J. Hrbacek incumbent A F Olson and Frank E Hook who would resign from the city commission to take the judgeship when eligible. Constable候 William Woodward and Frank E Hook are listed among the hopefuls. Voters must register by August 11 at City Hall with extended hours Saturdays.

To Start Soap Factory by John 8 Erickson in City
John 8 Erickson former electrician plans a soap plant for manufacturing a chemical compound soap that removes grease ink and paint from hands. The patented sap formula has earned favorable remarks from tradespeople and large manufacturers. Erickson owns 17 formulas and will expand production as demand grows. Turn County Hospital Over to the State
