Gogebic County Board Hears March 1923 Matters
The Gogebic County Board of Supervisors adjourned regular session at the Bessemer courthouse with 9 members present. They approved minutes with a correction on FE. WW. May’s two year term as sealer of weights and measures, considered warrants for the County Fair funds, filed illness vacation notice, and discussed financing for the Upper Peninsula Development Bureau. A special agricultural committee recommended a land purchase for fair grounds and a Chevrolet coupe for the home demonstration agent, while deferring a two-acre land action to the next meeting.
