Farmers Rally Here Friday In Vidalia
Hon. Threet Moore of Butts county and Hon. E. K. Overstreet of Sylvania will address Toombs County farmers in Vidalia at 2 PM Friday July 29 on behalf of the Georgia Cotton Growers Co operative Association. The statewide educational drive opens July 27 with ten teams touring Georgia until mid August. Dr. W. F. Peacock chairs a local committee coordinating the meeting and prior sessions. The movement gains momentum as the War Finance Corporation backs the plan with financing for the 1921 crop, following Mississippi unit support.
