Maeser Pioneer Era Post Offices Unite Under Buena Vista Name
Early history recalls rural tree delivery before mail came from post offices. Mill Ward and Buena Vista operated in the Mil Ward area with two offices for years. In 1899 Buena Vista Post Office named after Duana Vista won approval, unifying Mill Ward and Buena Vista. The change faced church record confusion until Maeser was adopted as the ward name.
