Naples Team Nears Junior League Title
Naples rose within one win of the half title in junior softball by beating Stubborn Glines 29 26 despite missing two players. Duval went five for six with a homer and Harri son added four hits as Naples notched their fourth straight victory. Vernal First opened the second half by defeating Vernal Second 15 6, with Caldwell and Jacobson homering and Haws tripling. The forfeit ruling delayed a Second game as Vernal First led the schedule and Manager Max Caldwell of First elected to proceed.
