Plans exist for a five day Ashbey Valley homecoming with parade, rodeo and pageants drawing former residents from across the nation. An executive committee led by I. W B Calder coordinates events, with other core members named.
Challenger Airlines extends the family fare plan due to strong demand. The program allows all but one member of a family group to fly at half fare during early-week travel.
