The State of Utah Office of State Engineer publishes that the United States Department of Agriculture Resettlement Administration Ashley Valley Reservoir Company has asked for an extension of time from March 10, 1842 to March 10, 1947 to complete an appropriation of 4500 acre feet of water from Brush Creek in Uintah County for irrigation of about 10,700 acres across multiple sections. About 100,000 has been spent on works with an estimated 5,400 more needed to finish. Protests with reasons in affidavit form must be filed with State Engineer Ed H. Watson in Salt Lake City by May 30, 1942, with one extra copy and a $100 filing fee.
