Union Township Civic Directory on sale for bicentennial
The Union Township Civic Directory is now on sale at Union Two. It costs 1.50 per copy with a door to door sale by Boy Scout Troop 99 and stock at Citizens Bank Pisgah. The booklet spans civic information including government agencies Laket Schools churches clubs township history and a yellow pages listing. It includes trustees messages Bicentennial Committee activities a street listing and a large township map. Proceeds support the Bicentennial Committee and special edition bids are invited for two numbered issues to mark the township celebration on Sept 4.

Reeder Graduates from University of Kentucky College of Medicine
Phillip Hayward Reeder son of Mrs Dorothy Selby and the late Hayward Reeder graduated June 5 from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. Obituary for James E. Finley Sr in West Chester
Services for James E. Finley Sr aged 44 of West Chester were held at Schmidt Chawnan Funeral Home Sharonville after a train accident in Liberty Township. Finley, a railroad engineer, died when a steel rail pierced the central cab of a diesel locomotive near the Overpass of Princeton and Maud Hughes Roads. Survivors include his wife Margie Finley two sons James E. Finley Jr Stephen Finley and his parents Mr and Mrs William H Finley. brothers are listed.
