Corn Spill Closes Route 42 in Union Township After Semi Crash
A tractor trailer overturned on Route 42 in Union Township dumping about 49 000 pounds of corn. Nichlas Wagner of Bradner Ohio escaped injury as police and firefighters cleaned the roadway and ditch for nearly three hours during the Friday 2 p m rush hour. Traffic was rerouted while crews cleared shelled corn from the left lane.

Second graders at Hopewell School performed a musical comedy western titled Halfpint Cowboys in the second grade rooms.
