German Autobahns and Police Training Highlight Moore Profile
Captain Moore discusses his wartime experiences in Germany. He describes installing a radio system, establishing a police training school modeled after Troy’s New York State Police School, and revamping traffic with 50 mile per hour limits on autobahns built for speed and even airplane refueling. He notes a lower crime rate in postwar Germany as food supplies improved.
