The Schuylerville Central School girls athletic department held its 13th annual interscholastic banquet in the Primary School Cafetorium honoring 90 Junior Varsity and Varsity participants and their mothers. Kerry Haley and Fawn O'Brien led field hockey scoring while Linda Cook and Vicki Young topped basketball. The undefeated intramural volleyball team the 76ers also received recognition.

The banquet committee seeks addresses for George Decker Francis Stanton and Mary Healy.
Mutual aid from Wilton Gansevoort and Maple Avenue fought a 12:53 a.m. fire at the Wilton General Store off Route 50, Saratoga County. The building sustained extensive damage with heavy smoke and water impact, no injuries, and no occupants inside. Deputies termed the cause unknown and suspicious.
