Poestenkill VFW Drives Help for Vietnam Troops

Sullivan-Jones Post VIEW in Poestenkill collects items for military personnel in Vietnam. Collection points exist in Poestenkill and Sand Lake and Troy for a drive ending Tuesday July 25. Items packed in boxes go to Army Navy Marine Corps and Air Force units overseas.

County Receives State Motor Tax Share Funds

Rensselaer County gets 103,928.65 from state motor fuel tax receipts for the quarter ending June 30, 1967, announced by State Comptroller Arthur Levitt. Other counties share: Saratoga 118,853.48, Washington 111,714.68, Albany 97,823.20, Warren 76,624.68, with New York City receiving 6,546,394.21.
