Lincoln Arrested On License Count in Kentucky Tale
Report from Lewisport Kentucky says Abraham Lincoln was arrested at age 18 for ferrying without a license. He allegedly acted as his own counsel and was acquitted on the rowing charge, said to involve a passenger on a boat on the Ohio River while he was employed in Indiana at the time.
