Catholic Breakfast Speaker Urges Tolerance and Respect
Col. Jim Healey told Mechanicville Knights of Columbus that tolerance and respect for all human dignity are the antidote to bigotry. He urged christened unity, noted past immigrant struggles, and condemned bigotry in politics while calling Catholics to action as “little people” in democracy. The event followed Mass at St. Paul’s Church with a report on the $50,000 Knights home progress and plans for a February dedication.
