Subterranean River Water To Be Tapped By County
Saratoga County planning director Larry Gordon outlined plans to tap a subterranean river as a new water source to meet growing inland area needs. Wells are expected to drill in south central areas for about 1,000,000 gallons daily per acre. A proposed 25 to 30 million dollar cross county sewer system would follow former D&H railroad tracks from Ballston Spa to Mechanicville, aiding lake cleanup and reducing Hudson River pollution.
