Trucker Causes Bridge Closure On Route 7 In Brunswick
A tractor trailer jackknifed on a temporary Route 7 bridge near the Vermont border closing the span for about five hours. Kenneth Langlois, 37, of RFD Montpelier Vermont, was ticketed for speed not reasonable and prudent after skidding into right railings and striking a utility pole. The Zelco Company truck carried miscellaneous freight from Manchester New Hampshire. The 5 05 a m crash occurred about a mile west of the border, troopers said.

One Car Crash In Greenfield Center Injures Teen
A one car accident on Route 9 at 2:40 a.m. in Greenfield Center injured Rosco H. Rayburn 18 of RD 1 Greenfield Center. His car left the road, struck trees, and halted in a culvert after a second tree impact. State Police charged him with speed not reasonable and prudent. He did not require hospital treatment.
