Northern Livestock 4-H Club members attended the Rensselaer County 4-H Youth Show at Schaghticoke Fairgrounds. Robert Sheffer won Junior Showmanship and Holstein Junior Champion. Mark Calhoun won Junior and Senior Champion in Guernsey. The event included a benefit cookbook for a memorial bandstand and teen races during the 150th celebration weekend.

Canoe Race Planned by Fish Creek Club to Aid Creek Cleanup

SCHUYLERVILLE The Fish Creek Rod and Gun Club of Victory Mills sponsors a nine mile canoe race on Fish Creek this Sunday August 21. More than 200 canoes expected with four classes starting at noon at Woodbury's Boat Livery in Saratoga Springs and finishing at the Route 32 dam in Victory Mills. The event aims to raise pollution awareness and includes safety teams and a proposed cleanup plan to be presented to the County Board of Supervisors.

Missing 1971 Suzuki motorcycle in Eagle Bridge

A 1971 Suzuki motorcycle was stolen from a home in Eagle Bridge on Monday and has not yet been recovered. The bike features a red gas tank a silver fender a torn black seat at the rear and a broken clutch cable.
