Eastfield Village: One Man Preserves Colonial Trades
Don, who refuses to reveal his identity, is building Eastfield in Rensselaer County by moving 30,000 bricks and large beams to create an 18th and 19th century village. Filmmakers have visited the site and he plans a foundation to teach weaving, blacksmithing, printing, carpentry, and other crafts to revive colonial trades.
