Reseal Extends 1961 Crop Farm Stored Corn Loans
Farmers with farm stored 1961 crop corn under resealed price support loans may extend loans beyond the July 31 1965 maturity. Dalton Meyer, chairman of the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Committee, announced extension after a supply appraisal. The move follows CCC stock adequacy to meet disposition needs without 1961 crop corn, though loans may be called if necessary. Reseal now covers 1964 1963 corn grain sorghums and oats, 1962 corn and grain sorghums, and 1961 corn in Iowa.

PERT POINTERS From Pearl F Pardner Extension Home Bureau
Sanitizers and mothproofing are discussed by USDA researchers. New sanitizing agents help mothproof woolens and fabrics, working best when added to automatic washers. Mothproofing may rinse out after three washes, but longer protection occurs with dry cleaning. Further USDA tests will determine optimal sanitizer amounts.
