Democratic platform outlines 130 planks for convention
Democratic State Chairman Clark R Rasmussen says the platform is a far reaching document with more than 130 planks. A 24 member committee prepared it and delegates received copies a week before the convention. Planks address public transport for private school students and regional jail systems among others. An omission on lowering the voting age was noted but will be added later. An oddity mentions a mushroom found growing in a bottle by Mrs Dale Rekemeyer.
