The Bremer County Board of Supervisors met in regular session in Waverly on November 18 1968 and November 25 1968. They approved a second supplement to the 1968 secondary road construction program and the 1969 secondary road budget and construction program. Meteorite believed found in Pocahontas County
Glenn Dailey from rural Rolfe reported a black and red stone found by his son Dick on the family farm to the Pocahontas county sheriff. A seven state meteor recovery network tracked a meteor over Pocahontas county last fall. The object is under study at the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory and may be part of the fallen meteorite witnessed.
