Court actions in Kennedy perjury case and real estate transfers
A motion to quash in Emma M. Kennedy’s perjury indictment led Judge Zick to strike one count and sustain another while lowering bond from 2500 to 1000, though the defendant remained jailed awaiting a lower bond. Circuit court reconvenes Oct 26 with Judge Manus. The court records several real estate transfers, a tax sale of six county properties, and a state school fund distribution of 2862.79. An assistant movie director is described as a man who stoops to concur.
