Illinois Veterans to Get Care In Civilian Hospitals
Veterans with service connected injuries can obtain hospitalization in participating civilian hospitals in Illinois under a new contract approved with the Veterans Administration and Blue Cross. Eligible veterans receive an admission permit to present at a hospital near home, with standard VA coverage for all regular hospital services. Illinois is the sixth state to implement this program, easing access and reducing the need to travel to federal facilities.

Daffynitions Playful Glosses on Everyday Roles
A humorous list redefining common terms such as adolescent, guitar player, darkroom, fireman, newsprint and tip. It humorously notes youths in their early nineteens, musicians with easy pickings, a darkroom as a place for developing people with negative personalities, a fireman fixated on the hose, newsprint as a paper that is neither news nor print, and tips as wages paid to others.
