Mrs. G A Smith spent Friday with her daughter at Blackhawk Village. Mothers Day guests included the Timmmsons and Green families from Blackhawk Village, with Gere Timmons calling from Portland. Weekend visitors were H J Hagg and Mary Louise Meyers, and Mr. and Mrs. Witt hosted dinner. Mrs. Bernard Johnson traveled to Harrison Arkansas to stay with ill parents. Griswolds planned a Chicago trip, Eugene Murray visited a Sterling hospital patient, and Bruce Groharing with others toured Clinton and Ellendale acquaintances.
Mr and Mrs Robert Edgar of Rock Island hosted a weekend visit with their son and daughter in law Mr and Mrs Paul Munson. Also visiting were Mrs Bertha Jacobsen and Charles Heine from St Louis. Saturday afternoon guests included Mr and Mrs Miller with Mrs Jacobsen and Mrs Heine calling on Mr and Mrs Henry Lohmeier. Sunday gatherings featured Mr and Mrs Paul Murray of LeRoy and Mr and Mrs Adam Murray and daughter Martha of Moomington.
Me and Mrs Everett Yates of Rock Falls and Miss Donna Yates of Fulton visited Tuesday evening with grandparents Mr and Mrs Fred Coden. Mr and Mrs Oscar Kraft visited Tuesday afternoon and evening with Mr and Mrs Albert Kraft and family at Mt Carroll. Mr and Mrs Albert Kraft and family of Mr Carroll were Wednesday evening supper guests of his parents Mr and Mrs Oscar Kraft.
Mr and Mrs Vernon Rawlins and their grandson along with Mr and Mrs Howard Nelson and their daughter of Morrison were Sunday evening visitors in the home of Mr and Mrs Kyle Rawlins.
