Readers challenge averages in school tax article
A Thomson letter to the editor argues that an article on teacher salaries and school taxes misleads readers by using averages. The writer cites a barefoot-in-a-tub versus oven example and notes York Township tax levels, concluding average figures hide local realities. Also mentions visit by Mr and Mrs Miller of Lanark to Mrs Maude Brown and Harriet.
