Lanark residents host relatives and guests from Freeport Rockford Milledgeville and Pearl City. Notables include Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Martin, Mrs. Wm Spaulding Mrs. Gerdes and several Flickingers. Mayo Clinic plans and a new Plymouth purchase also mentioned.
Lanark workers include Walter Kindell decorating at Meeks bakery and I B Eivenhice completing interior work in Lanark. Farmers haul fertilizer and prepare to sow oats with Travers Bros of Clinton delivering oats to Frank Ellinor and Lee Fry on Friday. E B Payne visits Mt Carroll on business before his annual assessing tour. Rev Merle Hanbecker calls at the Lee Fry home Saturday. George Wolfensberger recently returned from Wagerstons Md and attends church services.
