Augustana College Choir to Perform in Rock Island
The Augustana College Choir of Sioux Falls on its 39th concert tour will sing in Rock Island Illinois on February 2 at 8 00 p m under the direction of Dr Arnold J Running The 65 member undergraduate chorus has journeyed over 200 000 miles in the United States and Canada during four decades The choir founded in 1920 by Dr Carl R Youngdahl aims to strengthen ties with Europe through sacred choral music and a European tour is planned for 1960.
