Thomson High School Hosts Second Annual Homecoming Fever
Thomson High School wrapped up its second annual Homecoming with a successful week of events led by the student council. The box gathering contest drew heavy community participation, seniors won the bonfire gavel for largest pile, and royalty was crowned at halftime of the Frosh-Soph game with Rhonda Fehler and Wes Temple named King and Queen. The parade featured student floats and the band performed multiple selections, including a tribute to the PTA and the school. The Homecoming dance closed the festivities with a debut performance by The Bismuth, a new band from Carroll County, featuring Frank Cook and Iry McWorthy among its members.
