Health official takes post at Savanna district unit three
Dr Ruth E Church arrived in Savanna from Macomb on Tuesday to become director of district health unit three of the Illinois department of public health. She earned a Wisconsin medical degree and public health training at Columbia. The Daehler clan met at Old Mill Park in Savannah for the twelfth annual reunion with 57 members present. Henry Daehler of Chadwick was the oldest, Dennis Etnyre the youngest, and officers chosen for 1947 include Paul Daehler president Harold Fink vice president and Dorothy Straub secretary treasurer.
