Chadwick News Entertains Friends in Home Cards
Miss Bessie Groharing entertained guests Thursday evening at her Chadwick home with cards and refreshments. Guests included Mrs. Edward Nugent of Rockford and several local residents. Sunday dinner guests at Alvin Larem’s included Rev. and Mrs. Paul Farley and other relatives. Stiffler visitors from Macomb came due to Paul Mackey’s serious condition. Saturday evening visitors at Dora Daehler’s home included Fay Reitzel and several Daehler family members. Charles Tripp and family left Denver after a week visiting Charles who was injured in an accident, with Thomson and Chadwick relatives.

Women Enjoy Bus Tour to Chicago With Chadwick Club
The Chadwick Woman's Club sponsored a bus trip to Chicago on April 20. Twenty six members left at 6 30 a m for a day of visiting Garfield Conservatory lunch at Marshall Fields shopping in the loop and visits to the Prudential Building Art Institute and an Antique Show at the Hilton Hotel. Two Chadwick friends Mrs Martin Kradle and Robert Bob Kradle joined greetings from 4412 N Ashland. Evening dining at the Spinning Wheel capped the day and all expressed enthusiasm for another such excursion.
