County TB Unit Holds Annual Meeting in Mount Carroll
Carroll County Tuberculosis Association met in Mount Carroll on April 5 with Dr K Seddies presiding in his absence. Officers for 1967 68 were President Dr K Sed dies Vice President Mrs Eugene Murray Secretary Miss Harriet Byers and Treasurer Mrs Harriet Allen RN. Budget was approved and 1414 tuberculin skin tests administered yielding sixteen positive reactors requiring X rays. Health educator W E Miley reviewed the year and Robert E Whaten Illinois TB Association spoke of state support and ongoing control efforts. Mr Whaten praised the program and a color picture gift was presented to Mrs Allen.
