Letters From Our Readers Spark North Spring Lake Pump House Tale
A reader recounts March 26 at Spring Lake where a pump house collapsed into an ice covered area, bricks and all. The note recalls childhood fishing days there and mentions Roy Buckwalter on the construction crew and a 1923 1924 build. The letter closes with a toast to turning brick into fish habitat and lists Armed Forces mail addresses for local residents.
