County weighs Rivermont fire station options in Front Royal
Front Royal Warren County officials consider a new one story Rivermont Volunteer Fire Department station to replace the two story building due to structural issues. A one story option would cost about 5.4 million with 14 000 square feet, while a two story plan would be about 6 million for 16 000 square feet. Financing could come through the New Market Tax Credit program via the local Economic Development Authority. Construction could start in June 2018 with about a year to completion.
