Avtex site in Front Royal eyed for mixed use redevelopment
The Front Royal Avtex Fibers site, a former rayon plant, is a pilot in EPA s Superfund Redevelopment Initiative. The plan envisions 160 of 440 acres developed for commercial use with a park, while portions become a police site and soccer fields. Public events on Sept 20 will mark a key milestone.
