Warren County Rotary names Rotarian of the Year
Carol Hardy, a four year Warren County Rotary member and editor of the club newsletter, is named 2015 Rotarian of the Year. She chairs Gala Silent Auction, coordinates Tuesday's Table feeding program, and participates in local andareawide service projects including Mulch at E Wilson Morrison playground and packing for C CAP Summer Backpack Program. The award was presented by 2014 15 Club President George Karnes at the June 17 ceremony.

Fair week kicks off with truck pulls and stage acts
Fair goers can catch Marlow Motors truck pull at 6 p.m. in the back field then sing at the Sing At The Fair open mic on RBC Community Stage. Hubcaps perform at 7 and 8 30 on main stage while NASCAR trivia runs at 7 30 in the Winder Building.

LFCC Offers CDL Training for Prospective Truck Drivers
Lord Fairfax Community College will run commercial driver license training this fall through its Office of Workforce Solutions in partnership with CDL Tractor Trailer Training. Hands on driving will occur in Front Royal with trucks donated by Valley Proteins Holtzman Oil and Appalachian Freight. Financial aid through LFCC Workforce Solutions supports industry credentials.
