Drugs drive most indictments in August session
Warren County Grand Jury handed up 13 indictments last week with eight tied to illegal drugs. Adrian Darnell Edwards, 21, charged with heroin possession. Montague Leecolem, with multiple cocaine and heroin distribution counts and marijuana possession with intent to distribute. Edwards had a bond hearing set and is due in court Sept 8.

River Day celebration set for Front Royal and Warren County
Front Royal and Warren County host River Day 2015 at Eastham Park on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free. Three-county chase ends in boys arrest
Two 14-year-olds face felony charges after a three county pursuit that began on Commerce Avenue and stretched through Clarke Frederick and Warren counties. The teens reportedly stole a 2011 Ford Escape from Chesapeake and rammed a state police cruiser during the chase. No injuries were reported and both boys were taken into custody. The driver, from Philippi West Virginia, is charged with driving without a license failing to obey a traffic signal reckless driving by speed and felony eluding.
