The Wakefield Board of Education held its regular meeting on June 12 1967 at 7 30 p m with President Reuben R Maki presiding Present were Wilbert Juntuila John Tosco A James Gilbert Theodore Wasielewski Nels Kuivinen and Superintendent Carl E Kleimola Absent was August J Tiberi The board approved May 8 minutes and current bills Then proceeded through reimbursements for medical exams and supplies and bids for coal gasoline typewriter maintenance milk and other items The teaching staff vacancies were listed and two replacements named Custodian hiring was postponed for a month Pending athletic equipment grounds improvements and classroom furniture purchases The meeting adjourned at 10 55 p m with minutes signed by the secretary
