Grace House Seeks Used Car Donation To Aid Recovery
Grace House, a recovery home for up to seven women plus a house manager, seeks a donated used car. The nonprofit follows federal acts ensuring group homes are treated like family homes and supports residents with a 12 step program and community backing. The house operates on rent subsidized by fundraisers, with a two year stay limit and requirements to attend meetings and engage with church and volunteer work. A 100 mile poker run on June 18 starts at Shenandoah Speedway to raise funds. For details, visit gracehouseshenandoah.org or call 652-8926. Pham Chopra plans similar centers for men with PTSD and addiction.
