Mandell recalls Dueling Banjos fame and Georgia film
Mandell reflects on playing guitar for the film Dueling Banjos opposite Erik Darling in 1972, the duet’s MTV-hot success, and a Grammy win after the song hit number two on the Billboard chart. He describes his New York roots, Owings Mills home, and connections to Dar lling, The Dillards, and Don McLean. Jam sessions at Elkton’s EACC draw musicians weekly.

Judge Calls Plaintiff's Case frivolous in Elkton hearing
Elkton Town Attorney Nathan Miller stated the plaintiff had no case after a hearing. He noted no evidence would have emerged over ten years regarding Good's disappearance and said the lawsuit bordered on frivolous and unnecessary. The dismissal does not bar future action, though Miller expects it unlikely.
