Residents oppose rezone for town land at 520 E Rockingham St
Six residents spoke against rezoning from R-8 to R-6 amid a land swap plan with the Michael Brothers for 4.4 acres at 520 E Rockingham St. They argue it amounts to spot zoning and question need for more storage units while town officials consider sewer-extension costs. In other news, the council reappointed Jay Dean as vice mayor.
